AIMS newest offering is Equipment Breakdown Coverage

Agricultural Insurance Management Services is pleased to announce that we now have an Equipment Breakdown program. Farm & Ranch property policies exclude breakdown of machinery and internal combustion. That’s where this program can provide the added benefit for proper coverage. A covered cause of loss is a sudden and accidental breakdown of the insured’s Boiler and Machinery equipment or a portion of the equipment listed on the policy.

Virtually, almost every Farm & Ranch has some type of Boiler and Machinery exposure. This mechanical breakdown encompasses more than boilers and pressure valves. It could include air conditioning equipment, refrigeration equipment, pumps, compressors, electric motors, generators, types of piping, engines, etc.

The carrier has their own risk control division comprised of board-certified engineers who service the business.
