AFIS Designations Completed

The Agricultural Farm Insurance Specialist designation was recently awarded to Clark N. Lindley, CEO and Tammy J. Hooker, Underwriting Manager of Agricultural Insurance Management Services.

In order to be conferred with this title the candidate must complete a rigorous course of study and intensive testing comprised of three course segments. Each section addresses specific agribusiness issues and requires the aspirant to demonstrate the required knowledge and skills to successfully handle agricultural risks.

The AFIS designation is the North America's premier agribusiness and farm insurance program, developed for insurance brokers/agents, customer service representatives and company underwriters. This title recognizes the knowledge of specialized farm and agribusiness risks. Currently there are approximately 350 insurance personnel that have achieved this title in the US.
